Amy Bradley is Missing is now streaming on Netflix worldwide.
I had the privilege of composing the soundtrack for this chilling new 3 part Netflix series about Amy Bradley.
In 1998, 23-year-old Amy Bradley vanished while on a cruise with her family. Over the years, there have been possible sightings of Amy in various locations leaving everyone asking: what really happened to her?

I knew nothing about Amy’s story before Ample Entertainment approached me to score the series and was fortunate to be brought on board early in the production process…a stage that allows the music to evolve alongside the edit. That kind of timing creates a deeper cohesion between sound and picture, where newly composed music can actively shape the storytelling and even influence the cut itself.
Very early on, it became clear that this expansive and emotional story needed a bold, unconventional musical approach.

I wanted the score to create an emotional bridge between the audience and Amy…what she might have experienced, what she might have felt and also how the family may have felt around the time of her disappearance. To help do that, I brought in vocalist Kezia Tomsett (True Detective Night Country, The Buccaneers).
Over three recording sessions in London, we captured a range of motifs, short vocal stabs (Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah) and textures. I then spent the following months experimenting with Kezia’s voice, sometimes making it distant, distorted, and ghostly; other times distressed and broken; and occasionally just beautifully fragile and raw.

Beneath these vocal fragments, I layered a heavily electronic score, occasionally woven through with haunting performances by octave viola player Violeta Vicci.
It turned into an incredibly rewarding collaboration over many months, with showrunner Alexandra Meistrell, lead editor Jack Gravina, and directors Ari Mark and Phil Lott. I hope that the series can bring some answers to the Bradley family.
A HUGE thank you to my music team who contributed to the soundtrack.
