Spotlight on The Troubles: A Secret History has won the Best Domestic Affairs Documentary at the 2020 Association for International Broadcasting Awards.
The judges felt this production deserved to be the winner: strong research and outstanding reporting which shed new light on historical events and make an important contribution to our understanding of these events was coupled with gripping background scores and infused with deep humanity.
It is wonderful to be recognised for my contribution on this landmark series for these international journalism and factual production awards.
